A little over a year ago I was in a bit of a graphic rut. So an old friend of mine introduced me to a client who ran a furniture store. The man who ran the company at the time was David McCarthy. I asked David how did you come up with the name of Eldred Wheeler? He didn't, he bought the company off of the owners Bill Wheeler and Emmett Eldred who obviously combined their last names to come up with name of company.
I met Mr.McCarthy at the Hanover factory and from there we discussed about the visual appearance of Eldred Wheeler. Up until then David was creating the visual elements of Eldred Wheeler. It was pretty evident that he needed my help. Most of his visual elements were of low quality so when it came to print the images were quite blury. I took the responsibility of being in charge of all of his visual elements and in a few weeks his ads and brochures looked like they came from a luxury furniture store than ads that came from BestBuy or Walmart selling furniture.
The contract between David and I lasted for about a year mainly due to fiscal reasons. Every now and then I keep in touch and see where the company is heading.
